Frequently asked questions
Quick answers to what coaches ask most.
What is GAA Pitch?
GAA Pitch is a session planner for grassroots GAA coaches. Answer a few questions and it builds a full training session — warm-up, drills, a game, and cool-down — with a printable pitch layout for every drill.
Which sports does it cover?
Hurling, camogie, Gaelic football, and ladies football. Camogie sessions draw on the hurling drills and ladies football on the football drills, since the skills are the same. Drills are tagged by sport, age group, and skill so the session suits the players in front of you.
How much does it cost?
The full planner is free: build sessions, browse the drill library, lay them out on the pitch, export them, and share them with a public link. A paid Coach tier adds extras like PDF export, your own club brand, AI drill generation, and season planning. Some of those are still being built; the pricing page marks which.
Is it really free?
Yes. The free tier keeps up to five saved sessions and adds a small footer to exported sheets. There’s no card required to use it.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. GAA Pitch works in the browser on your phone, tablet, or computer, and your sessions sync across all of them. Export a session to have it pitch-side at training.
Do I need an account?
You can browse the drill library without signing in. To build and save sessions, sign in with your email — with a one-time code or a password — or with an account you already have, like Google.
How is my data handled?
We only hold your email and the sessions and drills you create. We may look at how the app is used to improve it, but we don’t sell your data or use it for advertising. See our privacy policy for the full picture.
